Suhr Andre Nieri Modern Signature

Suhr Andre Nieri Modern Signature: technical overview

The Suhr Andre Nieri Modern Signature is a US-made, ST-style electric guitar listed at $4,999. It has a black high-gloss finish, a mahogany body, and a maple top. Its specification combines an ebony fingerboard and a maple neck with two Suhr humbuckers, a three-way pickup switch, and a two-post tremolo bridge. The guitar has been available since March 2025.

Those details establish the instrument's construction and hardware, but they do not provide a basis for claims about its sound, setup, playability, or long-term reliability. No customer reviews are available for this product, so this assessment stays with the listed specifications and what they indicate about the design.

Body, neck, and finish

The body is mahogany, with a maple top. Both woods are specified, but no thickness, body contour, or weight is provided. As a result, the materials can be identified, but the guitar's balance and overall heft cannot be determined from the available information.

The maple neck has an Even C profile and a high-gloss finish. The fingerboard is ebony, with a 16-inch radius and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets. That radius is a defined part of the neck geometry, while the fret count and fret material are clear construction details. The listing does not specify fret dimensions, neck thickness, or the exact fretboard edge treatment, so those aspects should be checked in person or confirmed with the seller if they matter to a buyer.

The scale length is 648 mm, approximately 25.5 inches. This is a commonly used full-length scale measurement, but the specification alone does not establish string tension or feel, which also depend on string gauge, tuning, and setup. The guitar is finished in black high gloss, with gold-colored hardware. The finish type and hardware color are stated, though the precise plating or coating material is not.

Pickups and controls

The pickup configuration is HH, meaning two humbuckers. Suhr identifies the neck pickup as an SSH+ and the bridge pickup as an SSV. A three-way switch selects between pickup positions. The supplied information does not list a volume or tone control layout, control component values, coil-splitting options, or wiring variations. Those features should not be assumed from the pickup names or switch count.

The paired humbuckers point to a design built around two full-size pickups rather than a single-coil configuration. That describes the hardware arrangement, not a guaranteed tonal result. There are no measured output figures, frequency response data, or listening tests in the supplied specifications, and no customer feedback is available to fill that gap.

Bridge and tuning hardware

The bridge is a Gotoh two-post design with solid saddles. The guitar also has a two-point tremolo, and Suhr locking tuners are listed. Together, these details identify the main bridge and tuning components. The listing does not describe the tremolo block, spring arrangement, saddle material, or setup range, so claims about tuning stability or how the bridge responds would go beyond the evidence.

Gold-colored hardware provides a visual contrast with the black high-gloss finish. A hard-shell case is included. No gig bag is included, according to the product details. For buyers comparing packages, the case is a confirmed part of the offering, while the listing does not provide its construction details or interior dimensions.

Buying considerations

At $4,999, this is a premium-priced signature instrument. The listed materials, stainless steel frets, named Suhr pickups, Gotoh bridge, locking tuners, and included hard-shell case help define what is being offered. Whether that package justifies the price depends on a buyer's priorities and direct evaluation of the guitar. The specifications do not include a setup sheet, measurements for the neck, or independent performance results.

The Suhr Andre Nieri Modern Signature presents a specific combination of ST-style construction, dual humbuckers, a two-post tremolo, and a 24-fret neck. Buyers who need an informed view of its sound or playing feel should seek a hands-on test, since no customer reviews are available and the supplied data cannot establish those qualities.
